PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY

Programme fees
The total programme fee for your ECHOES clinical placement starts at €1,850 and is confirmed at the time of acceptance, depending on your chosen duration (4, 8, or 12 weeks). For a full breakdown of what's included in the fee, see our Practical Information page.
Prices, currency and payment
All prices shown are total prices in euros (EUR). No additional charges are added at the time of invoicing.
Payment is made by bank transfer to our Danish business account. Payment details are provided on each invoice.
Any bank charges, intermediary bank fees, or currency conversion costs are payable by the sender. Where such charges reduce the amount we receive, the difference remains outstanding.
Deposit
Once accepted into the programme, you will receive an invoice for a deposit of €200. The deposit must be paid within 7 days of the invoice date to secure your place in the cohort. The deposit is non-refundable if you withdraw from the programme. The only exception is if ECHOES cancels your placement, in which case the deposit is refunded in full. If the deposit is not paid within the 7-day window, your place is automatically released and offered to another applicant.
Remaining balance
The remaining fee is due no later than 8 weeks before your placement start date. We will send an invoice for this amount once we have received your deposit.
Cancellation and refund policy
We understand that plans can change. Because we expect applications 4-6 months ahead of placement, we've built a refund schedule around that timeline.
If you withdraw after paying your deposit but before paying the remaining balance, you will forfeit your €200 deposit - no further payment is owed.
If you withdraw after paying your remaining balance, the following schedule applies to that payment.

56 days or more before the placement start (on or before the balance payment deadline): 100% refund

31-55 days before: 50% refund

30 days or fewer before, or after the placement has started: 0% refund
Except where ECHOES cancels the placement, the €200 deposit is not refunded, regardless of when you withdraw.
If ECHOES cancels your placement
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your placement - for example, due to circumstances beyond our control - you will receive a full refund of all fees paid, including your deposit.
How to request a cancellation
To withdraw from your placement, email us at info@echoesclinicalplacements.com as soon as possible, stating your full name, application date, and reason for withdrawal. Any applicable refund will be processed within 14 working days of your request.
