This form is the first step to apply for a clinical placement with ECHOES.
It helps us understand your academic background, discipline, and preferred placement period before we review your application and guide you through the next steps.
What happens after you apply?
APPLICATION PROCESS
Here is what happens next.
1. You apply
We receive your application immediately and aim to review and respond to it within 10 working days.
2. A conversation, not just a form
Before we make a decision, we will invite you to a short virtual meeting. It will be a chance for you to ask questions and get comfortable with the programme.
3. Application outcome
After the conversation, you will either be accepted, placed on a waiting list if the current cohort is full, or informed that we can't offer you a placement this time.
4. Securing your place
Once accepted, you will receive a deposit invoice to secure your place - the deposit must be paid within 7 days of the invoice date. Full payment terms and our refund policy are outlined on our Payment and Refund Policy page.
5. Getting ready to go
Once your deposit is received, we will send your payment confirmation along with a pre-departure guide and an invoice for the remaining programme fee - payment due 8 weeks before your placement start date.
6. You're never on your own
The ECHOES team will be there to pick you up when you arrive on Pemba Island. You will have direct access to our team throughout your placement: before, during, and after. Whenever you have questions or need support, do not hesitate to reach out to us.
